HISTORY |
Jake Tucker was born to parents Martin and Laura, and is the youngest of three boys. He grew up on the family's cattle ranch in Texas, and learned early on how to be a cowboy, a tradition passed down in his family for over a hundred years, along with the vast expanses of land where their cattle grazed. Growing up, Jake learned quickly to be a scrapper, as his older brothers constantly teased him and picked on him, and the day when a 16-year-old Jake took on both of his brothers at once and won? It became clear that he'd come into his own. Early in his teenage years, Jake took up the guitar, learning quickly that it scored him chicks, and after a few years of playing the field, he fell hard and fast for a girl named Hailey, and the pair were nearly inseparable, until they graduated, and she went off to college. Jake, instead, chose to go into the US Army. He was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where he met good friend, Rob Laird, who he would go on to serve with in Iraq. After his tour of duty was over, he went out on the road, taking life as it came, and playing in various bars and clubs all along the way. He makes a living, or at least scrapes by, with his guitar and his faithful dog by his side. |
